They had pineapple and papaya mixture and cut up apples but no pineapple.
I'm sure I could shop around and fine pineapples, I know whole foods has them year round. But I had a 7 yr old in tow and that means shopping is an in and out thing!!
Fair enough....I don't have to do the shopping with the smaller folk.
(though, I came home today - a package came! WOW! I wasn't expecting a package!!!! Huh, from Nestle....well, I don't eat Nestle products, other than maybe Smarties (real Smarties, not whatever you guys get in the States)....why am I getting a package? What could it be? INFANT FORMULA!!! AND A BACKPACK WITH A DIAPER CHANGING PAD!!!!! HOLY @#$%$@!!! ....Geez, no wonder my stomach is upset Actually, I got it, b/c I was shopping with a pregnant friend at a maternity store (well, more accurately, she was shopping) and we both entered a contest to win a bunch of baby stuff. Still though. Humorously enough, last week I was trying to convince Toby that if I got pregnant I could go on maternity leave and avoid a really boring project at work, but he was all '9 months too late for that! HA!' so I'm stuck with the project. I was able to call him and tell him how we were all ready to go with a can of infant formula, but he wasn't interested for some reason )
(Besides, I can't imagine a kid! Neb just spilt some wine on my sheets! These dogs are menaces! )
I am totally guilty of overusing parenthesis, but that is by far the most entertaining and complicated use of them that I have seen in a long time.
Did the wine help your tummy ache???
Oh and I wasn't just shopping with the small one, I was shopping with the small one who had three friends also shopping with their moms at the same time.
And 7 year old boys greet each other by running full speed and tackling each other while yelling at the top of their lungs.
It really is a lot like watching puppies play
Sadly, I have to report, the red wine was not the magic cure I was hoping for (though for a while, it really helped!) I think my hope lies in ginger....
