Give me a better option without faking a crisis that doesent exist...
You're sure about that? Seems the vast majority of the scientific community would argue with you on that point and I'll bet very few of them wear hemp pants.
Well, I guess whether or not it's a crisis depends largely on how wants to view the issue. However, among the scientific community the consensus is pretty close to unanimous; something is going on that we should be paying attention to.
The debate is really centered on what the human contribution is to the changing winds of fortune. And if there's anything we can do to mediagate what looks to be an unparalleled swing in the climate since the last big asteroid wiped out 3/4 of all living things on earth.
The fact is, the earth is warming up.
The debate is, have we caused it and can we do anything about it? Indeed, should we do anything at all?
Steve, here's something for you to consider when talking down to environmentalists. When I was young we used to be able to eat the fish out of the bay pictured in your sig.
Unless they've done some drastic clean up in the bay area since I was last there, would you eat anything out of the bay now? That is if there's anything left alive to fish.
Lol, actually the earths been cooling for about the last 10yrs or something and it doesnt match what the computer models say should be happening. I'm not for pollution Randy, and I know my comments are pretty derisive. Yeah, you can eat some of the stuff out of the bay and I do once in a while.
I have a question for you too Randy, why is it called Greenland?
I'm saying these thing s absolutely respectfully to you Randy, which may not come accross in type, but that whole consensus thing is nothing more then a NY times headline. It's not anything even close to the truth.

I like to think that I read both sides, and for me, there is no question about man-made climate change, apart from and unrelated to the earth's natural cycles.
And for me, there's no question that it's a very bad course we're on.
