Jo, thank you very much. I do make sure Rasta gets everything first. I even give him attention before I take Duke out of his crate to go potty. I'm also making sure that they don't have any interaction. What kind of dog is that?
If your asking about my signature picture, I can't remember which one I had. I have a Husky mix (cream and cinnamon) who is the 11 yo, and the beagle is no one knows how old. The Husky came first. They are as different as night and day! I thought you would treat the old guy right! Good for you!
Look! I DO fit in the bag. |

Well I have to say I don't see pointer in your pup. He looks just like a white GSD to me! Whatever he is he is really cute. Love the rottie too. He looks so noble.
And Jenn... the first I've seen of Neb with his ears up! I thought he had drop ears lol.

I was wondering about all-white GSD too....but I don't know, there's something about his face/muzzle that I think he's got a little something else.
Neb's ears have been up for awhile! He often has the tip drop over though - I think they're called tulip ears - he varies between that and fully up ears
Teagan!

Thank you. The dog in the window is killing me!

Thank you, again.

The old man still cracks me up several times a day with his faces. I need to get a good picture of him smiling with that "hey, how ya' doin? " look.

He's definitely got a strong GSD mix, but we've been through a few other breeds trying to find what the other mix is. His fur's about 1/4", he's got that blaze on his faze, a blanket on his back, spotting like a Pointer on his sides and belly, long legs, keys on birds, his tail straightens mostly out when he's in "there it is" mode, and still has a lot of energy after a two mile walk (we walk him to a park about a mile away to let him play on the slides and be around kids). The two other main mixes we've thought of were yellow Lab because of the yellowish fur and pit because of his facial structure (though I've never seen a GSD with fur this short). What made us decide on Pointer was watching an international dog show, a day or two before Westminster, and seeing the Pointer go around the ring. We did a little research and it was the only one of the breeds we looked at that didn't give us a "well, it could be but..." feeling.
We just weighed and measured him, he's 18-19" at the shoulder and 37lbs..

I just noticed your tabby, we have a muted orange kitten too,
she looks likes someone took a regular orange tabby and rolled her in baby powder.
Your boy is big at 37 lbs already, he's going to be a nice size I bet.

I was thinking he was going to be around 60-70lbs., but it's looking like he's going to be a bit bigger than that. He's got really compact, almost cat-like, paws so I didn't think he'd get big. Boy was I pleasantly wrong. I'm 6'5", so I love big dogs and big cats.
I see your tabby in your sig. Great looking cat. There were my favorite when I was a kid and this is my first one in over 20 years. Funny story. We befriended a young feral Siamese on our property and she had kittens under our house (raised foundation). I was done washing my car one day and when I walked around the corner to turn the water off, here were these four little four week old kitten. One dark seal point like mama, one fluffy lilac point, the cream point, and the tabby. We started getting them used to use that day, brought them in at seven weeks, and rehomed the other two along with mama at 12 weeks. They're actually some of the best cats I've ever had and my mom says that we've always had cats from the time I was around two, so for 30 years. We also have a three year old black cat that was also a rescue.
