uhh...how did you look for it?
If I were you, I would actually use a hose on the poop and make sure it isn't hiding in there.
she's a little thing so im sure her poops are pretty small, but you never know what may lay inside a stool!
Yes, the purpose of the bread is to coat the sharp object and avoid puncturing the walls of the digestive track.
After 2-4 hours, you needn't continue to give the bread.
I would feed her normally if her appetite is normal, and invest in a sieve to strain her poop through until the earring is located.
Just scoop the poo into the mesh sieve (am I spelling that right?) and then spray it down with the hose until the sieve is void of all... voided matter.
If the earring was there, it should be left in the sieve.
Yippeeeehhhh!!! Hooray!!! She pooped it out. No blood, no diarrhea, just a normal solid poop with a shiny gold ball shimmering on the edge of her poop...lol...Thank goodness and thank you ALL for your suggestions and feedback. I was so worried such a tiny little pup with tiny insides, that it was going to do some damage. She didn't seemed bothered by swallowing an earring, running and romping around without a care in the world. Thank you all again. I really APPRECIATE YOU GUYS!!! Have a wonderful week!
Hey Wendy,
The 2 times she did poop, I put on a plastic glove on and smushed it with my hand to make sure that it wasn't hiding in it. Yah, her poop is pretty small. Luckily though, she pooped again after breakfast and I took the earring from the poop and cleaned it. Gosh, my earring was so shiny...ha, ha.
Just scoop the poo into the mesh sieve (am I spelling that right?) and then spray it down with the hose until the sieve is void of all... voided matter.
