Hahaha.. this is a funny thread - and I am SO glad I don't let Brandi in the bathroom with me.
Everynight, before she goes to sleep, she walks on to her dog pillow, gets on top, and scratches at it, scrunching it up into the biggest uncomfortable ball you can imagine. Then she turns around 3-4 times, lays down, gets up, turns another 2-3 times and lays on it to fall asleep.
She also has this funny laying position where she will just down and tucks all her limbs underneath her and lays her head flat on the floor. Looks like a turtle haha.

How are you keeping her out?
Danke will lay outside the bathroom door and have an absolute fit.
If I don't come out, or let her in, she opens the door.
Yes, Danke can turn doorknobs.
She has also mastered the art of jumping against the sliding door just right, to open it. We have to make sure the glass door stays locked.
Can't lock the bathroom door... the son kept locking himself in, so the lock had to go.

I was just thinking that a lot of us have dogs with bathroom fetishes.
It's either b/c they're dogs, and therefore weirdos, or....is this a consequence fo praising them when they go? I do that, plus Teagan is always leashed and I'm always with her when she's going. I wonder if Teagan now thinks toilet time is a group exercise or something where we all stand around and get involved.
Teagan!

Perhaps we're marking the wrong behaviors when we praise for a good potty?
Either that, or the weirdness is more apparent to us, because we humans have weird attitudes towards bodily fluids and solids.

I have to run in and close the door right away. Then I hear her whining and snorting at the door haha. When I open the door, she is planted right at the entrance in her "turtle" down.

Haven't noticed too many yet, but any time we're on a walk and we pass a really nice green and plush lawn, my 3.5 month old GSD immediately plops down on the lawn and rolls around in it. She probably does this to rub in the fact that she's destroyed our lawn in the backyard since we got her!

I don't think it ever had an official spelling.
Never registered her, so it never went down on paper.
Her brother, Buster, was registered, and there are only so many ways to spell Buster.
