Training at this age has to be FUN for him. Sessions kept VERY short, 1 - 2 minutes or less in duration. NO corrections for training issues at this stage.
Your MAIN goal here is to establish yourself as pack leader FIRST. Have you watched the Pack Structure video yet ( http://leerburg.com/308.htm )? How about Your Puppy 8 Weeks to 8 Months ( http://leerburg.com/120.htm )?
Once you have established pack structure you can focus on training some very easy things with Marker Training.
Don't rush this phase - puppies need to play - their minds are not all there yet - they are easily distracted and are in a place where they need to bond more than anything else.
I've watched them, but there's so much info i need to go back and watch again. Plus, I watched them before we got Dublin (like over a month ago... I think I have a puppy memory...)
