I am new here, my 4 year old German Shepherd always gets car sick...nothing seems to work. I dread the vet visit for shots. I can't take him anywhere.
He gets right in the car and acts just fine..10 minutes later the drooling begins..then the whine..then the vomit. If he doesn't eat then he vomits bile.
I came to the conclusion that some dogs just don't travel well.

As best you can, ignore it. Carry a big roll of paper towels in the car and simply expect the pup will drool for a while. My experience is the same as Connie suggests above---they simply outgrow motion sickness.
What you DON'T want to do is to stop taking the pup places in the car. Socializing is more important than drooling. I suggest more car trips, not less.
My pup vomited in our two cars several times when she was younger. Luckily we quickly figured out that she only did it when we took turns too fast. Since then we've learned to drive VERY smoothly when she's with us. :-)
She hasn't done it in a while, though, so hopefully with what Connie said, she has outgrown it. She's also figured out where the back AC vents are and loves to just stick her face in it when we travel.
