OK, seems we're all good now. He snubbed breakfast so I put it away after 20 min. At dinner time, he went right to his bowl and chowed down...didn't come out of his room until he was done. YAY!

Good! Some dogs just take a couple of meals (or even days) before they catch on.
Good job!

Update. He went off and on with eating right away but now apparently his potty bell is also the dinner bell. I guess I am officially owned!
Since I got him, he has had a bell hanging from a door that he rings to do outside. The bell is no longer on the door to the outside, it's on the door to the mudroom where he eats. He'll ring the bell then walk to the door and wait to be let out.
He rang the bell twice today and just stood and looked at me. I let him out and he just turned and stared at the door. Never left the door. Let him back in, I sat down, he rang the bell again. I walked toward the kitchen (also the way to his food bowl) and he got all happy waggy.
He usually eats between 4-6pm so I wondered if he was wanting dinner. I went to the fridge to get his dinner and sure enough...he was ringing for dinner.

My pup has also learned that if he stands by the door, I'll get up and "do his bidding". He now uses that to ask for toys, food, attention, playtime as well as to go potty.
Gotta love how smart they are when it comes to training humans.
It's nice to see that he is loving his new food!

Well, he's at it again. A little over a week ago I tried to give him hamburger that had eggs, acv and veggies mixed in it. It smelled like hamburger and was probably 75-80% hamburger. He wouldn't touch it. He gets fed twice a day, I had offered it to him 5 times (2 1/2 days) and had decided that if he didn't eat that night I was going to mix in some tripe to get him to eat because he was getting very noticably thin. He would ring his dinner bell and look at his bowl but he wouldn't touch the stuff. I had planned to offer it to him one more time but he came in my office and laid by my feet and kept whining so I caved and mixed tripe in with it and he ate it all down.
I had figured he was not liking the smell of the acv, even tho I couldn't smell it. I fed him the stuff he likes for a week or so to get some weight back on him and last night I offered him some ground beef that also had organs and bone ground in it....no veggies or acv.
He won't touch it. I had also found a rec bone at the store that had a bunch of meat on it and had given that to him earlier in the day and he would't touch it. Apparently he hates beef. He'll eat beef liver but they only way so far that Ive been able to get him to eat beef is the one time I mixed tripe with it.
Suggestions? Simply avoid beef? Let him whine until he finally eats it?

So he is eating food other than beef now?
I don't think it has much to do with it, but does he need the dinner bell? That may be too off topic, but I can't find where that helps anything.

He eats liver, chicken, tripe and turkey. He also eats fish with veggies mixed in.
The bell has always been for him to let me know he wants outside, at this point, he really doesn't even need it for that anymore but I've just left it hanging there and he started ringing it for food on his own.

Chicken and turkey RMB's? I remember he was refusing those, too.
Whole fish or canned? Both are O.K. Just curious.
If he is eating chicken and turkey I'd be more willing to let beef slide. It'd still be nice to have a red meat in the diet. What about pork? Venison?

Chicken and turkey were the first thing I tried to give him and yes he did refuse for some time but he started eating them and has no problem with those now. The fish I've given him has been canned makrel.
I had some pork neck bones in small qty and once he ate them, the other time left them until they got stinky and I threw them out so Ive not tried them again. Ive also not tried any other pork yet.
I don't have any venison yet but was planing to add it at some point. I do have a rabbit in the freezer.
It's really tickin me off that he's being so stubborn about beef.

But it is chicken and turkey RMB that he IS eating? Making sure that he is getting edible bone.
Pork neck bones for a lazy eater might be too challenging. You can add some boneless pork to some bony meals, like chicken backs or chicken necks. Same with any other meat.
If the only problem is beef, then don't worry about it. A varied raw diet doesn't have to have beef.
