Not very long. Our training is limited to when I can access the car, so this was actually our third session.

Hi Jenn,
She looks great! It looks like alot of fun for both of you..
I hope the new meds do their trick; it sure seems likely that the pain is playing a roll in the soiling issue.

I hope so. I'm not ready to let her go when she is still so engaged in life, but I am also concerned that her quality of life is compromised b/c of pain. I am thinking to try Adequan and a new pain killer and see how things work out. If there is spinal fusing we'll just take it day by day with the new pain killer.

Thanks! The pics are on FB! Under 'Teagan's threat training' album.
We go to the vet tomorrow, I am dropping her off in the morning so they have time to do all the x-rays etc. They were wondering about incontinence, which I don't think she has, I mean, it's all too coincidental, but we'll see.
....may need your hockey equipment yet!

Incontinence can be caused by many things.
I'm glad she's heading for the vet visit. Let us know!

Well, spay incontinence, is what I meant. I don't think she has it, though it's possible. I'm afraid she has pain incontinence.
We'll see what the vet says! I've been developing an ulcer waiting for this visit! I will definitely keep you guys all updated - you've all been great!

Hey Jennifer, one thing to maybe keep in mind though with her hips is the pulling and probably some slipping while she's alerting. I know its tough to back off what they really enjoy, but I would be concerned. I didnt really put it together with the two threads, but the pic of her pulling and really exerting just made me think of it.

Connie, I think I'm driving Toby crazy too!
Steve, good point. She's not showing any lameness, but she is fairly high-drive and hard and so I'm trying to keep that in mind as well. I know I backed off doing SchH with her when I first adopted her b/c the week after we visited a club, she got dx'd with hip dysplasia and I was concerned about the jumps. On Sunday, I kind of thought, what if this is her last time up here, we should make it fun. Though I didn't have her do any of the jumps (short) or the a-frame, both of which she likes. Just in case!
