The first few ingredients should be meat, not carbohydrates. Dogs are carnivores. If the first ingredient is sweet potatoes, and the second is chicken meal (which is different from plain 'chicken'), and then the third is another carb, dump it. If I was feeding kibble, which I did until 2 years ago, I would only feed the kibbles listed on Leerburgs. All that filler and carbs, sugar, beets, etc. is what caused Kasey gas and the runs off and on the whole first 1 1/2 years of his life.
