I was with a cat rescue group for about 8 years and had a horrible time fostering because I couldn't see past the ones I had. I ended up keeping a whole litter (5) of kittens (now 5.5 year old cats) because I was tortured everytime I'd drive them to the store where they were displayed for adoption. I only fostered twice. Knew there was a lot of foster experience here and figured I'd make sure there weren't any tricks of the trade. I saw where she had pooped once where we picked her up. I'm betting there isn't much left in her tummy, though.

I drive this stretch of highway almost every day and have never seen her until today. No telling where she came from. The wounds you can see don't look today, or even yesterday, fresh. Looks like she has had a pretty rough go so far.
