Lori,
First of all I'd stop the fetch game involving the two together.
I'd work/play with one at a time. The other would be kept in the house or kennel or crate, whatever your arrangement is. And switch them out for play.
Next, I'd stop with just straight ahead play. Don't let that stop you from making it a good time for the dog, keep it all upbeat. However now you're going to introduct bits and pieces of your ob work into to play. ie, Sit......throw ball......yeah yeah.....fetch. Heel.....yeah yeah....throw ball.....yeah yeah, good heel......yes fetch. etc
You can keep it fun for the dog, they learn quick when having fun. Keep the pinch on with a pull tab if you feel you need it, but if done right you probably won't need it.
Remember NILIF, the same goes for play.
If my dog isn't learning, I'm doing something wrong.

for the time being i personally would keep the fetch games to one dog at a time. having more than one dog can raise excitement and make pack mentality come into play in a more serious way which could contribute to the mouthing. As well this should be a time when your pup learns to focus on you and engage with you during the prey games.remember you need to be the center of this dog's world not your other dog... and dogs will bond with other dogs and take their ques on how the pack works before a human it's only natural.
I play what i call competitive fetch (two dogs one ball) with my dogs, but I establish my rules of play and a very good recall with each fist, so can call back the dog that didn't get the ball back to me so they can't harass the other dog that did get the ball on their way back to me. this also makes it clear that I'm the one calling the shots and doesn't create any bad habits.
Just a thought,
Rob

Over correction is often the result of a person getting frustrated because the dog is not on the person's schedule for learning - a self-fulfilling prophesy.
So true!
And, I agree with everyone about separating the dogs for training and play.

just wanted to thank everyone for their excellent advice. I now play with Ruby without the other dog and using lots of rewards (food rewards and praise) when she retrieves the ball. I also have her do something from our obedience class before I throw the ball for her. She's doing really well and I'm not nearly as frustrated as I was. She also graduated from basic obedience beginner level and is moving on to the next level.
Does anyone have any idea how to get her and my other dog to stop eating poop. They don't eat the fresh stuff only stuff that's been there for a while. I pick up after them daily but I still find that I leave 1 pile behind somewhere in the yard and they find it. I tried crushed pineapple and it just made Ruby have loose stools even though I was only giving her a small amount. I'm at the point where I'm gonna get some hot sauce and put it on the piles as a deterent. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I used to have a dog who did this. I noted her poop times and walked her on leash at that time of day, redirecting her away from the poop and always picking it up immediately.
Hot sauce on piles sounds like a lot more trouble than picking up the piles, which you will be picking up eventually anyway.
Seriously, coprophagia unrelated to dietary factors (missing nutrients) responds best to management, IMO. In fact, the one I had who came to me with the habit already ingrained ended up pooping and then running right to me for a basic ob command and marker/reward. Obviously, this meant that I had done a little legwork to note poop times, to walk the dog (because exercise will get the peristaltic action going when the poop time is nigh), and to redirect immediately.
Good job and good results on the playtime issue!

Just kidding. Pick it up, and I bet the problem will go away.

I would definitely pick it up, as opposed to seasoning it... some dogs have strange pallets. My rotty will eat anything, i caught her licking up jerk sauce i had dropped that was very spicy.
I do remember hearing of a product called "stop eating poop" by solid gold, and I believe you add a little to the food and it some how makes their poo less appetizing because it contains Glutamic Acid. I have never used it and don't know how effective or safe it is for your dog so if you want to use it i would do a bit of research first.
