Really hoping you have a good outcome. Sometimes you get lucky---look at the Bode dog, that could have been frightful. And the Beirut dog who has been skirting
disaster every other day-lot of lucky dogs on this list.
Great news Meredith! I am with Michael, if the vet is happy with the results that sure would give me reason to relax and be happy.
Just curious, what are the supplements that he is putting Ripley on?
Give that boy a pat and a hug from me!
Patted and hugged, Joyce. Thanks. I can't like you to the product from my Blackberry, so Google "Standard Process Spleen Dessicated". and "Spleen PMG". I looked them up, but still have no idea what they are. In this case I'm results-oriented only.
I have really good news to report. Ripley's spleen is totally back to normal. The vet couldn't feel it upon palpation last night, so no x-rays were required.
What a relief!!! Cause remains unknown, and the vet warned that it could happen again, but I am just so happy that this had a good outcome.
Thanks for the prior good wishes and thoughts for my boy.
Great News Meredith! I am so happy to hear that Ripley is back to his old self!
It makes me wonder if the supplements that your Vet gave you helped him get better or was it just all on his own?
Regardless, it is wonderful news! Did the Vet mention if he wants to keep Ripley on the supplements or not?
