I was planning on getting her used to the clippers. It's a matter of getting me used to clippers. I have a pet peeve about shaving dogs. lol. I want her used to nail trimmings, clippings, tooth and physical exams, baths and blow dries.....
I have been good in the past about exposing dogs/pups to bizarre things that they may have to deal with in life. I have been known to make things up as I go. lol I just seem to make dogs that don't tolerate strangers grabbing at them. Although, my wild child impressed the heck out of me last week. A toddler (unleashed and unsupervised - with mom standing next to him!!) grabbed my (super alpha) male by his tail, cranked it up over his back, then attempted to straddle him. Poor Coulter just looked at him while I chased the little stray human beastie off and asked his mom if she ever considered leashing her kid. I was so proud of Coult for not eating said beastie - I mean kid, that he got some extra chicken livers that night.
