I had to check out the vid's to see some different breeds of dogs. Which lead to a brief research of the pups. Nice training. Nice pups. I read that the Chippiparai breed is extremely rare and almost extinct. Are there a lot of them where you are? Just curious.
There are not many as pets as they are not fashionable. People think having an untenable dog like a st.bernard( unsuited for the climate ) is a status symbol.
Having said that, many people in the deep country side use them to hunt. They dont look at confirmation or markings but physical traits ,depth of chest(honeycomb chest), how they run, if they will bite and hold on to the prey or bite and release and bite again(bite and hold is prefered).The government has also established a breeding farm for Chippiparai dogs.
