That is wonderful! I had never seen that one. What a partnership!
Seriously, that was just beautiful. I might also be a bigger sucker for the old world spanish breeds than I am for quarter horses... sooooo handsome...
That reining one was from back in 2008, guess Im REALLY out of touch
Here's one of my favorites, and apparently many others fav according to the over 9 million views and 7000+ comments
That performance truly was incredible...
Sadly, Blue Hors Matine passed away this January after an unfortunate paddock accident... she was only 13, and clearly so exceptionally talented... really makes you realize how fragile horses are.
I hang with a horse club and Equine Rescue so we exchange these videos all the time. The one with Jesus Morales reminded me of the video of his horse playing with his bull!
She was an extraordinary mare. They were able to produce greatness together. So sad to loose her at such an early age & in such an preventable way. Heartbreaking, really. With her talent at such an early age, you can only imagine what she would have been capable of in another few years. Most grand prix horses are much older & often don't reach their peak until into their teens.
I've ridden since I was very, very young & never really appreciated the art of dressage until I was older. It was always so much more fun to jump & MUCH, much harder work to put in the time to excel at dressage. Youth is often waisted on the young.
"Youth is often waisted on the young." Aint that the truth!
Yeah - I'm only 31 and I STILL feel this way!!
After regular riding all through my youth, I couldn't keep it up when I went to college, and never got back into it. I'm awaiting the day when I can finally buy a house with some land, I'd love to get a horse (maybe rescue one in need)... nothing fancy, just to enjoy it...
