Gosh Dan, can you feel the virtual hug? Through your posts I feel like we have gotten to know you so well - you are always so honest and heartfelt. Seeing your picture simply made me smile from ear to ear. Good to see you.
And yes, your pup is a great looking dog, and go figure - the ears are up!!! And yes, he will grow into them as well.

Barbara, laughing trhu your whole post. Oh YES, I can feel the love you guy's have for the Leerburg's Family. Thanks for those kind words.
When you start out on a journey, it is always good to know people around them world Ar holding your hands. And even if there is some harsh words here and there, it is with no malice.

...and conversely, we have a dog that we refer to as our "evil detector." Somehow, he has a way of pointing out humans in our house whose intentions are insincere or worse. His accuracy rate has been very high.
In our house, if our dogs accept you, you must be alright.
A dog has alot of friends because he wags his tail instead of his mouth.

This is so true. I will also add that...most of the remaining 1/2 of my close friends are ones that my horse has helped me choose. Our animals help enhance our lives in many ways.

If I could only get my wife to touch or talk about my dog. then I will be close to heaven. After been in the house for over two years and don't actually with much emotions, my Chico broke that back. I still avoid crowds as much as I can. I go to the woods with my dog my buddy (Vamos Chico) Dan
