Also, I wish to give you my deepest sympathy for your loss of Zodi. May healing come when your new girl comes to you.
I am so happy for you Leih!
Thanks so much, Joyce.
It's so strange, the grieving process. It sure isn't something we have any control over.
I've been so wrapped up in excietment over the new puppy coming...would there be a girl?... that I was totally ambushed by emotions about Zodi just after receiving the great news. It was quite a surprise, let me tell you.
And, there's nothing to do really other than to let the emotions run their course.
I've been saving up ME's videos (have the first two, and will be getting the heeling and retrieve ones, too). I'll also be reviewing the Crate Games video, which is wonderful.
The new books I have are mostly agility related, and the titles don't come directly to mind. Groundwork and starting out with basics like that.
I'll be rereading Training in Drive and Purely Positive Training by S. Booth (I've just about worn those out, but always get more out of them), Excelerated Learning by Pam Reid, and Control Unleashed for starters.
I never thought I would say it, but now that Tasha is growing up I'm starting to miss having a puppy! I've been day dreaming about getting her a black and white cardigan corgi as a little brother
Have lots of fun. Remember to have many dish towels, tugs, and soft toys handy. Don't forget to stock up on band aids!
Congratulations! Maybe the breeder will send a 4 week old photo and you can post a birth announcement! I'll be a Dutchie Grandma soon, I have only seen a couple that are with our Sheriff's dept, it will be fun seeing them as pups! Steve asked about them in agility, I had the same question.

They're fairly rare in agility, as in most dog sports. I've only seen a couple in person, competing.
