If I tried to feed it to him on purpose there would be mutiny. Sheila, I second the idea of using cooked veggies from dinner. Maybe pulp them in the blender with something extra flavorful like low-salt bullion.

As Connie said though, that doesn't make everything else in the diet unimportant. If this were a scale it would be tipping heavily toward carnivore. But 90% carnivore, 10% herbivore is still going to equal omnivore.

I just give 'em a rinse and be done with it. I know others might not agree with that, but the veggies make up such a small part of the diet that any residual spices that don't get rinsed of has to be a ridiculously small amount. I do avoid onions and garlic. Even anything that was cooked with them. Don't know of that really matters, but I sleep good at night.:smile:
