My dogs love cat food kibble as training treats too, I love the fact that I can toss them in my pocket without worrying about a mess, plus I always have it on hand.

Hey Dan, sounds to me like you need to lobby the wife to buy a four-wheeler (ATV).
(I saw a picture of a handler in one of the Schutzhund books who was tossing the dumbbell over a jump from an ATV. Think of the off-road possibilities!! Lot's of the bird hunters "road" their dogs from an ATV).

(Oh, and cheese puffs or cheese balls - like Cheetoh's - are a favorite of our dogs I found out this morning. Not great nutrition, but less dense than pure meat and the dogs love'em.)

I kind of hate summer myself, specially for the dogs. I did not write yesterday cause it was a bust, and I was like a kid. The calendar of events had 4:30pm, As I tried frantically to get the time strait, we did not hook up. that time seems to me was wack, it was over 94 degrees. Anyway they had contacted me via E-mail witch I did not check. The time was 7pm. so we will try for next Wednesday. But Chico and I are doing fine. I think they will be surprise of what he can do. well new field , distraction and who knows what else can be in the mix. My camara is lock and loaded. Dan

Oh man! Well, maybe with the heat, it was better it worked out like it did. I would have been EXACTLY the same way, plus I would have woken up two hours earlier in the morning afraid I would sleep through the event... Better luck next week, and I know Chico will blow them away.
