Good Tracy, I don't like the smelly powders or other type like it, makes me think I am messing with the dog's smelling abilities, I brush constantly, and I feed raw from the beginning. I will just deal with it. 'Cause I love my dog, just wanting to learn from everyone what they do. Dan

I bathe my dogs pretty often being as they're white, sleep on my pillow, and soak up slop like a mop head.
As far as a recipe for a non stinky dog. Good food, keeping the dog in healthy condition, keeping the dog in a clean environment, and regular grooming to eliminate dead hair which traps dog musk is a great way to go about it. As far as the OP's thing about where they walk. Use a sporting dog nylon vest/chest guard and you'll avoid a lot of the body funk. Then just spray off the dog's feet when you get home. No funky dog odors or outdoor funk odors that way.

Sorry if it seemed a little short or terse Dan. Didn't mean for it to be.
I was just passing by in a busy afternoon.
I didn't have time to offer much more, like brushing, combing, swims and towel offs.
One of the dogs rolls in something disgusting, until I can get them to the river or lake I rather take them much the same as I take the guy in front of me inline who bathes himself in Brut or the gal in the elevator who uses a 1/4 ounce of Channel every time she wears it.
Ugh, I ignore it till I can throw them in the river.
