Richard, I sent you a reply...And Don...I agree with you 100%. He wasn't fighting me to the extent he could had, and I was lucky for that. That's why I said in the previous one I faulted for letting my temper get to me....Believe me, he has done damage to me when I was working him on building his bite. He missed the bite tube one time and hit my forarm. Totally accidental, and like a dummy I tried to pull away which he thought was tug of war time. Luckily he was familiar with "out" and did so. I think he bit me this time out of fear sense his "fight or flight" only had one choice. Like I told Richard, he usually runs tail between legs when He knows I'm coming with a correction. I guess he sees it in my face. This time I had his leash and he could not run....Believe me. You all gave me wonderful ideas to use in the future, and the "alpha roll" won't happen again. Hopefully the situation won't either, but you just never know.
