Wow, I don't know what the original post was, since it was already edited before I saw the thread. But I do know Adrian, since he's the training director of the French Ring club I belong to, Southern California All Breed Ringers. Which happens to be one of, if not currently the most, successful French Ring clubs in the United States. With Adrian's help, and the help of other club members, I have put FRIII's on 2 dogs, and my current dog is well on her way to an FRIII. Adrian is also the owner and trainer of his own FRIII Tosco, who is currently the number one dog in the NARA standings, and has a very solid shot at being this years FRIII Champion. Tosco's sister, owned by another club member, was the FRIII Vice Champion last year. I could keep listing accomplishments of SCABR members, but honestly the post would get pretty long.
Regardless of the OP's post, whatever it was, you might want to check a trainer's resume before you start bashing them.
And if you are in Southern California, and want to check out French Ring, feel free to drop us a email.
No one has bashed the trainer - the reason the post was deleted was the OP posted an advertisement for a training event for this trainer without permission from Leerburg.
It simply is not ethical to sign on to another forum which makes a living offering services and products related to dog training and post information about YOUR training business - without permission from the site owner.
This guy is a very talented trainer, who made a faux pas in not asking permission to post advertisement. A lot of boards don't require permission for these sorts of posts.
Hopefully he emailed Ed asking for permission, so that his post can be restored.
Can Adrian Centeno teach my dogs to clean the counter tops AND load the dishwasher?

If he could teach mine to scrape the poop boards in the chicken coop, heck I'D promote him on Leerburg without permission!!

If'n he is such a hotshot trainer maybe he could train your chickens to use a special chicken toilet…

I'm thinking that after this thread Centeno and his minions are gonna be more careful about how they come into the 'hood......
Unfortunately there was a lot of mocking, and behavior that would not be considered polite at all if this were all in person rather than on an anonymous forum. People were making a joke out of a trainer because someone else posted about him, without knowing the trainer they were mocking.
Before bashing and mocking, look into the topic first. Yes the OP (apparently a minion?) should have gotten permission before posting, but most other dog boards I am on this type of post is totally acceptable, it is only this board where permission must be granted first. It was a faux pas, and the trainer did not deserve all this. I love Leerburg and its forum, I just hate to see this type of behavior here.
Jessica, I appreciate your comments and you are correct, in person that would have been extremely rude. I didn't think of it as mocking the trainer - I simply was "playing" with the other Leerburg members. However, I missed a perfect opportunity to keep my mouth shut. I apologize.
Maybe a thread should be started in non-related dog chat entitled goofing around or something. I admit the 'playing' around does make me laugh throughout the threads/posts. Obviously I do not want it to be at the expense of a person for any reason. Just a thought...
