Just struck me - if lots of people start responding to the posted videos, it will be a bit harder for folks to "find" the videos among the comments.
I'm going to start another thread "COMMENTS ON VIDEOS" * and let's all post our happy comments there - and just leave THIS thread for the videos themselves. * Note:
"Comments" thread here:
Ok here are the videos, I switched tricks and dogs throughout the beginning part of the week. In fairness to Buddha I failed him at a proper training, but we had fun and will work on perfecting it.

Kasey has had quite enough of our trick, so this is as good as it's gonna get! He wants to post a disclaimer before you watch the video - he says that this trick was NOT his idea, and that he hopes, that the guys especially, will take that into consideration when they watch it!
You will see that he is a lot more fired up over the treats I have than the trick!
This is my first video and it took FOREVER...But anyway we went to plan B and this is what we got We had a lot of fun and I think she kinda likes doing it just for fun... Beef helped a lot though. I really like the middle of the video with the bubbles she looks like she she wants to eat it. I had to do it without sound and with music because at the time I made the video we had the generater runing and that was all you could hear. But I did not say much, just encouragement because I used hand signals. She made a very nice hole in the yard after we did this... It was VERY hot and after 5 min in the sun she was worn out. It worked better at night... Get in and spin!!!
OK, I'm going to post this. It is a new behavior, but a take on the old, 'here' command. Tikko was distracted by someone with food down by the lodge on Mt. Greylock (the morning after my sister's wedding), and I've been working on using the whistle for 'instant recall' with distraction. Tessa added a bit of extra distraction toward the end, but Tikko came in with eye contact perfectly, another thing I've been working on- attention to me with the recall. Recently I've had fun teaching both the dogs some dance moves (weave between my legs, 'high ten' wave) but just don't have time to film and edit videos right now. This video was easy to post, and it was the best recall with distraction and whistle so far.
