All good information.
The one that concerned me was a 7 month old working line pup at the Schutzhund club. Earlier, his handler asked me to pet the pup, because he (handler) was lax in socializing the pup. (FYI: handler also stated he trains PPDs). Later, in the shelter house, this same pup focused on me, body posture changed, and he growled and moved toward me. I looked away and relaxed. What the handler did, I don't know, but the pup also focused and growled at another member.
Thanks for the comparisons and personal stories. The body language of the dog as well as mine is something for me to remember and focus on.
