She is more brown than blue (my pictures are not professional quality ) solid color (no brindle anywhere) and her skin and coat are great, very smooth, no roughness, & no dryness. I'm starting to think she may be perfect, whatever mix she may be
Note to self - stop falling in love...husband said no...husband said no...
I dont think my "self help" is going to work
My guess would be boxer mix? I don't see the pitt in her head, but something squareish is in there! She looks like she's got a single coat, could be Cur, or any other houndy thing mixed in.
Actually, I saw a pup in a shelter that looked exactly lik her in coloring, but wth erect ears. Very shepherdy. But he got adoptedreal fast and I can't find the picture now. Beautiful coloring though, is there any breed that typically has those shades?

I see boxer too - the dark face, flying nun ears, big bright eyes... maybe boxer/pit, since that coat, while it may be primarily brown, does seem to be dilute (where blues and mousey brown/greys come from). It's easy to focus consideration on 2 breeds, since there is only one mum and one pop, but there could be 20 different influences in there, depending on how many mutts are in her pedigree...
Whatever she is, she's adorable.
Santa came early this year!
She looks like a pit or pit X to me. Masking is an acceptable pattern, and isn't that uncommon. The solid colors seem to be more common, but I have seen a number of them with masking, in a range of body colors. Perfect example is Cassie - FRII. http://www.workingdogphotography.com/images/SCABR0710/IMG_2365.JPG Oh, and no, her ears aren't upright, it's just from jumping.
For more photos of Cassie you can go to http://www.workingdogphotography.com/photos.php?id=33 and got to page 5. I believe her color is considered buckskin, this pup looks a lot darker, but the masking is obvious.
Course I always tease her owner that the reason she works so well, is she's colored like a Malinois :-)
She is really a gorgeous little girl. I don't blame you for wanting to keep her. I'm definitely leaning toward pit bull or Staffordshire mix of some sort. If you can't track down her owner, I sure hope you can find her a great home.
If Tiffany still has her when I get home from work, I'm going to take a video of her. Her head and jaw structure doesn't look like a pit to me, but it's hard to see it from the picture links...
