Does the dog know his way around OK? Does the owner know about essential oils (like vanilla and lemon, say) to scent certain pathways .... one to warn, one to lead?
There is a blind dog in my neighborhood and I've always wondered what techniques the owners might be using to help it get around indoors without constantly injuring itself. Outdoors of course the dog has it's seeing-eye human to assist.
I know I'm probably grossly misunderstanding this, but does the scent trail technique allow the dog to independently navigate indoors?
