if he's pooping in his crate, he's not let out often enough or the crate is too big. or both.

He soiled his crate today, this has happened a few times but not much , he is a 6month old presa canrio (please spare the breed prejudice), iam not immediately able to bathe him so what is the alternative ? he rolled in his poop!!!!! i think i remember seeing some wipes or something at the pet store if i remember correctly
At 6 months old first I would eliminate any physical reasons for soiling his crate and then I would back way up on the housebreaking.

Matt, you are getting some kinda deservedly snide comments. At 6 months, "a few times" of crate-soiling means something is wrong, and that's owner-error.
So let's get it fixed.
Does he have diarrhea?
If so, how often? Have you dropped off a fecal?
If not, Betty's right that you have to start over with house-training. How long is he crated? How often is he walked? Do you have a handle on his poop "schedule"?

I was waking up letting him out and he was regularly going even in the same spot, then he would be crated again for a few hours and then back out again, lately he is not going in the morning , not sure why. Guess this is the reason but im not sure why he isnt going on the what was normal morning schedule. The stool is normal BTW, ? He is fine when he is out with me in the house thou, just a crate thing which is funny to me.

Have you tried walking him in the morning or throwing the ball or something until he does do his business? Sometimes a little exercise gets more then the heart rate moving.....
When something like this happens I really try and look at my schedule, the dogs normal schedule and any changes that have been made in the household. Normally there is a pattern somewhere and once I figure that out I've pretty much figured out the solution.
Perhaps he's spending too much time in the crate without a pottie break? Just from the little bit you've posted I think that's the first thing I would look at and maybe double up on the breaks.

Randon thought/question: Have you punished him (yelled at him?) for pooping in the crate, or other inappropriate pooping?
Dogs are funny--they can sometimes misinterpret getting punished for pooping inappropriately to mean that all poopping is bad--that you don't ever want him to poop (which is, of course, impossible.) So instead of pooping while you're around and risking a correction, he does it the only time that he's alone--which is in the crate.
But we're all just guessing. If he's not ill, then it's really just back to square one with housebreaking--which is all about taking him outdoors with enough frequency that you can catch him doing it correctly and then praising that. Any housebreaking "accidents" must be ignored. They are your fault, not his.

I agree with Betty...
I average 2 pups per year, rescue, or SD in training, and find that any changes in schedule, especially times of feedings or at times of eliminating a feeding can cause variation in the times they go.
Moving, running, while out is also good.
