Oooooooh! Whisk a bit of anchovy paste into the egg whites! LOL
BTW, the egg white sheet sounds a tad overboard even to me
But I have to reiterate that it's SO simple, SO cheap, and I think the easiest way to get a reward for the hoover-type dog who needs a little more in his mouth to realize he swallowed a reward (and IME, these are a pretty small percentage of the dogs I've worked with, but I own one). (I don't want a reward that he has to stop and chew or drop crumbs or any other pause in the training action.)
I roll it up to scissor it across, getting little "springs" (coils) of the slivers of the egg white.
I just let the dog lick a little off the end....you barely have to squeeze it at all.
Food tubes are great, but that one with the clip on the end is a little ghetto. I have some that fold over and have a plastic slider sort of gizmo on the end.
And yes! A little to flavor up the egg whites would probably work great!
