Once I am more than say 10' away from him, the chaos starts. .... during training, he seems to be looking through me. He has a lost look. ....
Is there really a stage where things start getting confusing for them.
When you are moving too fast, that lost look is confusion.
Yes, the stage is when you move ahead without yet having reliably solid responses where you are now.
Like every command in every training venue, you don't add duration, distraction, or distance until you're solid right where you are. Then you add them slowly, and separately.
In India, christmas is a national holiday. So I celebrate the fact that it is a holiday.
I was born into a hindu family and we did not celebrate christmas. So there is no tradition of that. We celebrated other "Hindu" holidays .... but as I slowly started growing up, I realized that it was too much effort to celebrate some arbitrary date and decided I was not going to participate.
Not because I have some idealogical problem with the festivals, but it seems too much of shopping, crowding the roads, hurrying and too much effort involved.
I celebrate all special days by just sleeping in and being a slob.
Connie> I have already started back with the position change from close by and will move only a feet every 2-3 days. Also I have cut the position change thing to only 1 minute x 3 times a day with lots of tennis ball throws as rewards
