I'm in total agreement about keeping dogs naked. I only have one dog and he's still naked much of the time.
I've had to cut off a few collars. It REALLY sucks when it's a fur saver.
For me the exception is when my sister and I have our dogs out in the woods off-leash. My dog has a collar and an e-collar on. We just makes sure everybody is wearing a quick release or buckle collar...no martingales, chokes or fur savers, and they're never out of our sight.
Those tags are AWESOME though! I love the look AND the price.
Those are awesome tags, really cool.
My guy wears nothing but a tear-away red ribbon so I can see him easily in the snow when I am in the Bobcat. I have a paranoia about collar hang-ups here on the farm.
Mine only wear collars when off my propety and not when they are playing with other dogs. To me, when off my property, the risk of potentially getting loose in a car accident etc outweighs the risk of a collar getting caught on something. Of course, my dogs are rarely unsupervised when off my property so I do not worry about collars getting caught on something as much as others might do.
