You should find that guy Aaron, and have Danke introduce herself.
That could be fun.

She'd just give him a kiss, right?
MUAH!
rofl. See if he thinks shoving a GSD is a good idea after she gives him a couple reminders on how to treat dogs.

People feel bad for the dog but what about the owner that might not know what his responsibility is as a dog owner. Of course there is the owner that once he does know will decide not to change but I know that there are a lot of things I did not know (that people here would say "poor dog" to) prior to finding this site.

I think the owner is responsible for educating himself beforehand on the basics of what an animal will require. Not detailed, indepth training experience, but certainly how much attention or exercise an animal requires. The dog doesn't have a vote in who adopts him - it is up to the owner to make sure they can provide the basics of what their animal requires for a healthy lifestyle

And what about the breeder's responsibility to make sure an owner knows what they're getting into. The dog is obviously purebred, guess they could have got it at a shelter but I kinda doubt it.

Throwing two intact German Shepherds together does not a breeder make.

I saw that video before it's one of the saddest things I've watched. The anger/frustration in the guy is so apparent also.
I really feel sorry for that pup.
Yep, the frustration the pup is putting out is palpable; the guy is just an idiot...

I have to agree with you, the guy is handicapped (look at the guys physical build and how he moves) and you guys are bashing on him! Shame on you guys!!! You guys have no idea how he came about that dog and the dog shows SEVERAL times that if he did not have his muzzle on he would have been biting the guy. The guy may not have the mental or physical capability to train that dog by himself (which is made apparent in the video). He never struck the dog and you guys are getting mad about him shoving it??!! But you’re ok with kneeing a dog in the chest for jumping or correcting a dog with a pinch collar, does that make any sense???

Kimberly,
I've now rewatched the video three times before responding. My internet speed is slow so I do not get to watch the video without a few sessions of "buffering" while it is loading, so I am not seeing it playing non-stop, however...
I see a man of slight build. Being tall and thin makes him handicapped?? He is capable of walking, opening a door, carrying a bag, bending down and manipulating a rather large, rambuctious dog, shoving the dog, etc... Nothing tells me he is mentally or physically handicapped, so I'm missing what you are seeing. I work with handicapped folks several times a week - just got home from doing so as a matter of fact. Could he be mildly impaired in some way? I suppose so. He could be a rocket scientist or the village idiot - neither is apparent from the video, so are all making assumptions to one degree or another.
If you can find any post of mine over the past few years in which I've ever advocated kneeing a jumping dog in the chest, bring it to my attention and I'll send you $100. Not gonna happen. I doubt you'd fine ONE post which advocates this in which other members did not chime in to clarify that is NOT a menthod any serious trainer/devoted dog owner would recommend.
As for correcting a dog with a pinch collar, if you find anywhere in any of my posts where I advocate correcting a dog for any reason with any method without prior training under minor to major distractions, I'll send you $100. Not gonna happen. Can a pinch collar be misused? Yep. Is it a humane, helpful tool when used properly - absolutely.
Training is done in phases. No dog should EVER be corrected for doing something it does not understand. Period.
You are new here. Do some more reading before you jump to conclusions.
I'd bet far more than a $100 that this dog has not been property trained, nor does it get enough attention or exercise.
