We are all 'Misfit Toys' in one sense or another. Broken in ways to keep us from feeling or being quite 'Normal'. Most people just don't know they are broken or try to hide it even more. Temple was a wonderful picture and true story of a mother's love for her daughter and about how others believed in Temple to change her disability to a strength. I have often felt like I had square wheels and others were round and took quite awhile to become comfortable with my differences. Every dog, bird, human, or other living creature is different and has a nitche of their own. You can't raise 2 children or 2 animals the same way, but with love, patience, and discipline you can bring the best out of any living creature.
Love them for who they are, not what you think they should be.

Well said. I've pretty much bucked the trends of society my entire life. To some people that makes me endearing. To others, not so much I've learned that these people need to look inside themselves to determine why they are so intolerant of others.
