How about Beginner, Novice, Advanced and Professional?
Advanced will be those involved in sports/competition for under one year/not titled; Professional will be over 1 year/titled.
I think that sounds good. I've been doing Schutzhund for longer than a year, but consider myself more casual, and would definitely not be Professional.
I really hope I have time to get it together while moving!
I know you were saying object discrimination for beginner, but what about the indoor activity for Advanced? I wanted to work on article indication, is that ok?

Sounds like such a fun contest! I would love to join in, but Kasey is getting a little neglected these days - my daughter just had our first grandchild and I'm needed at their house a lot these days! It's a tough job, but someone's gotta do it! I will definitely vote though!
I am in for beginner object ID...I just need to learn how to teach it lol I think I posted that question a while back and didn't get an answer. Hopefully someone can explain how to start teaching object ID?
Questions:
can tracking teaching be done in snow, where one can see their footprints, or would this be considered cheating in some way?
Can the track be laid with a booted foot or is the scent to be tracked too hidden this way?
Can one enter the contest with one dog learning one thing, and another dog learning another? Two entries?
Object identification would be the dog identifying by word different items right? Or is identification by smell? I know this is a stupid question but some of these things are really new to me. I would like to start tracking but she does not know OI either and I think it would be easier to start with that plus we are in the middle of moving again so don´t have a lot of extra time.
