I give him a good live yogurt now, fish oil and vit E. I planned to eliminate all of these and re-introduce them slowly. If I'm being too conservative, tell me.
I will post pics of his 1st meal. I feel better starting this knowing I have help at the touch of a keyboard. Thanks!

Danke's first raw meal was SO unplanned.
I'd been thinking about it for awhile, but hadn't made a decision either way.
I dropped a chicken quarter on the ground on the way out to the grill, and said the hell with it. Tossed it to the dog, who carried it around the yard for a minute, then sat down and went to town on it.
The informed, well-planned approach is probably better than my method, lol.

He is already eating all these with no problem, right? I'd probably leave out the yogurt for the first couple of meals (over-cautious, but I just like to know that there's only one item to address in case of any problem ... which is unlikely if you peel the fat and make the first meals small), but I really can't think of any reason to omit the fish oil and E with a dog already on them.
But you can do it your way too.

AH-HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Do! There is nothing like the first meal of fresh meat and bones for a dog who has been on kibble.
My small senior still gets a glazed look in his eyes, gazing into the middle distance, when he is methodically crunch-crunching through his chicken backs. The others inhale theirs, but he enjoys every single crunch. Like dark chocolate.
My daughter says his RMB look is just like her caviar look.

Well, I realized it sounds kinda contradictory. I could never find fault with anyone for starting with one small meal of one fat-peeled RMB with good "beginner bones" like the ones in a chicken back. It's just about foolproof to start this way and wait for the poop before moving ahead with another ingredient.
Over-cautious, yes. But easy, and the one-in-twenty dogs who would otherwise react with pudding poop to such a radical diet change .... won't.

You know Michael W. would pay for a video, but probably not enough to justify you going out and buying a video camera - LOL!
Be sure to post pics of poos as well - you are about to enter a very weird, creepy, poop-aware group of dog owners.

I'd send MY video camera if it had time to get there.

No photos or video. My camera batteries were dead.
I can report success in what really matters, though. Ripley gave me some weird looks, but picked up his chicken back and shook it, then tried to crunch, then pawed at it, then figured out how to get the job done.
It was so satisfying to hear the bones crunching, knowing that his teeth were getting clean and that we were on a healthier path.
I'm looking forward to dinner.
