some donw time, I got to work.
30 min of run time while I fee
1hr run with Dexter in the wood
some down time
Play and ob 15 min to 45 min
30 min walk
Then more free and play time
This is from 7 am to 9 pm.
He now stay with me when I teach. Quiet time together.
What is his down time like? You're getting in plenty of activity, but I'm wondering if he might be a bit like an overstimulated child who just can't settle.
I'd suggest working on self control exercises and training calm behavior. Have you heard of the book "Control Unleashed"? It has some great ideas/tips on training self control.
I will look into that book.
He can be calm on leash or in the house or crate.
He will bark if I leave and he has not been running or playing hard.
Dexter was and is still never that active. He will run a bit and can fetch up to 5 times when in the mood and he is now 18 months.
Not the same dog.
That is why I am looking for a way to get Harley tired but no so stimulated.
