Well I have enough experience with dogs to feel confident in what I said. I believe that most people in the working dog world would agree with me. If all someone did was watch videos and read books and web forums on training, I would still think they would agree with me (not saying that is all you do Arik). But Welcome Mon R King hope you have fun with the forum.
I would suggest that you start another thread under the "General Dog Conversation", perhaps, with your question about training the bark. I'm certain you'll get many responses from very qualified people to help you determine exactly what it is you want to teach her and how to do it.
Yes of course I know that having a big dog is a deterent; and having a attack/protection trained dog is a HUGE responsibility. However, in the neighbourhood we live in, it is becoming increasingly unsafe to be in your house, let alone outside!
I think that if word goes round that Tilly is trained, this will make life a bit safer for me and my family.
