Look at his daddy. Brago can do the cuddle-bunny all day long. Just don't crack any whips or show him a bite sleeve!
Drago is looking great. I do love that pic on the dog house, but the first thing I wondered was, "How the heck do you keep him from jumping right out of there?"
I don't see why not?
I suppose it depends on the dog, but Danke, for all her hell-raising, has a very sweet, snuggly side too.
When I lost Tim, it was almost as though she set aside her own needs and turned into this complete watered-down, driveless lap dog. She was content just to sit near me.
I think that the good dogs know when you really just need a quiet pal to hug.
Danke sure is one hell of a dog Aaron, this made me tear up when I read it. Aren't dogs just amazing?
So glad you had her and your son to help you through that difficult time.
Dennis, I love the serious look on Drago's face in the first pic. but I remember seeing that pic though when Drago was in Mrs. Jone's arms when he was a small pup.... he sure looked happy sleeping in her arms!

He still flys into her lap when I let him out, then afer 5 seconds he's ready to rock

With a face as serious looking as the first picture, there's no doubt you will have your Schutzhund dog, he looks every bit of that. But sounds like he is a momma's boy when he wants some snuggle time. Perfect! Best of both worlds if you ask me!
He's just gorgeous Dennis.
