One more thing! I have a meeting I need to be at at 11:30 is he going to poop after he eats? I don't want any surprises like a dog covered in poo and the kennel as well when I come home. YUCK
(I cant wait till my no spill bowl shows up I've had to clean him and the kennel up from water)
I have to say this saddens me. Puppies poop and pee and they make messes with their food and water, despite our best efforts. It is the nature of puppies to do that, so there will be messes to clean up.
Didn't you say you have two- and three-year-old daughters? Haven't you ever changed a diaper? Haven't they ever thrown food off their high-chairs or gotten it all over themselves?
I do wish you the best of luck, but messes go with the territory whether you're talking about puppies or children. If YUCK is your attitude, I'm afraid things are not going to go well.
As I mentioned in my other post, my boy wasn't feeling good today either. He came out of his crate and promptly threw up some liquid (stomach acid). He had a normal poo, followed by a mushy one. Then he wouldn't eat. Why? My guess is my husband fed him a pretty small dinner last night and I only gave him a little handful of treats...so his stomach was empty too long. These things happen and knowing how to prep chicken and rice is a good start. With experience, you will get the skills to help him. We all started somewhere
I have been down this road many times with my older female, so I just popped Vigo a couple Gas-X because of the gas noises I could hear coming from his stomach. Gave him a teaspoon of Pepto to coat his stomach. Started preparing chicken and rice...no big deal

Here's my rice instruction post from the other thread. Plus maybe three detailed posts about rice diet. Making two threads on the same topic is very unproductive.
I'm fine with it. I was poking the poo I took pic's of with a tiny stick
