Nick, can you give me a run down on what your feeding schedule is?
How much TOTAL during the day is the pup getting to eat?
and how much is he getting per feeding?
Are you still mixing in a bit of kibble?
Also, you said you took the pup to the vet before and he gave you medication, what exactly was that medication for?
and have you updated the vet on your concerns?
how you think he's lethargic (although like someone else pointed out, a lethargic pup is definately not a barking pup)and that he still has soft stool?
we can do all we can here, but i think you need to start addressing your concerns to the vet.
Ditto to these questions, all answered in this thread, in one post, in order. Thank you.

The medication is Albon 125mg . We are supposed to give it for 5 days. What does the medication do?
The puppy is getting 1/2 cup each time six times a day at two hours intervals. Yes we are still mixing kibble. My wife decided today to add half rice and half kibble and he's been pooping fine.
We went to the E vet 5/9 was given instructions which was rice and chicken plus the pills.
When we take him outside all he wants to do after peeing or barking at cars or law mowers is lay down. He will lay down and look at me while I gently tug on the leash. I've resorted to picking him up when he does this and so has my wife.
Heather told me he will walk sometimes but you have to pick him up and plant him on his feet. Inside he will play tug and other games but I have failed to keep him engaged which is why I think he may be laying down outside. WE REALLY NEED OUR TREATS!! (sucks we cant yet)

YOU NEED THE VET. TODAY, if your post is accurate.
What/when was the diagnosis requiring Albon?
He is displaying this kind of lethargy and you don't know he needs the vet? You've been asked about this lethargy at least twice over three days. No reply until now.
Healthy puppies do NOT need this: "pick him up and plant him on his feet." They are NOT "laying down outside."

Nick,
Did you take him to the vet? Is that where you got the albon? It is often used to treat Coccidia in puppies and can also treat some other infections in dogs. Coccidia is an intestinal parasite that is usually transmitted to them by the mother. However, I thought the usual treatment period was longer than 5 days.
His lethargy is very concerning. I have owned a malinois and the tug behavior is really abnormal. Please, follow Connie's advice and see a vet today!!

This is Albon.
It's for treating various bacterial infections. Did the vet do any type of culture? Urine, feces?
Nick, your posts are all over the place. The pup is lethargic, the pup is tearing your arm off, barking his head off. Which is it? He did not seem lethargic in the short video you showed of him in the ex-pen. When did you take that video?
Is he lethargic in the house, or just outside after he's been running around?

Good point, and why I said "if your post is accurate."
I don't think we can rely on that. The vet can look at the actual dog and not depend on these millions of posts for info (and lack of info).
ETA
Not being a puppy expert, and being completely confused by conflicting posts (as well as failure to even mention a diagnosis that led to Albon, which is used to treat coccidia infections and staph, strep, escherichia, etc.), I need to add that my post is JMHO.

Albon is often used for suspected COCCIDIA. Timing is about right age wise and the stress of leaving his littermates to cause a flare up.

Heather here:
Gambit does still bark his head off and mostly whines while doing so. He has not lost his appetite for food at all. He does drink some water but I don't think he drinks it enough. When we took him outside to pee again recently, he was barking his head off at cars going by and wanted to run. He does pee a lot and there are times where he pees for maybe 5 seconds at a time, maybe longer. He also does have a little trouble pooping the last of his poop out.
I think he could be mildly dehydrated due to the fact that his nose is dry and his gums are dry and sticky. When gently pulling back on his skin behind his shoulders, it goes back into place immediately after release, and when gently pressing in his gums to get the white color and letting go to get the pink back, the color returns automatically.
When he is inside the house, he wants to walk around the whole house and smell the carpet (we have carpet throughout the whole house). Whenever I am in the kitchen putting dishes away or loading up the dishwasher, he can hear the noise and just barks non-stop. He seems to play better inside the house than outside.
When he is outside, he does pee, and wants to walk. Today, he wanted to lay down and roll around in the grass. He did bite the leash and wanted to play tug with the leash today. I got him interested in a short walk and he took a big poop; he pooped in 3 different places.
Is it possible that he needs electrolytes? I read this link here http://www.natural-dog-health-remedies.com/dog-dehydration.html that we could do this by giving him clear Pedialyte.
P.S. I hope this clears up some things.
We took this video tonight before I posted:

Nick here:
The video doesn't show him running. I asked her to grab the camera after he ran a bit.
Waiting for your responses....
Albon was given but I wasn't told what it was for. I went to the E vet at 3 am not fully awake. At the time I just thanked the doc for the meds and left thinking I should of waited to see the normal vet. No urine or stool was taken.

Thanks for the video, Nick and Heather.
The pup does not look lethargic to me. If you think he's not drinking enough water, boil up some chicken breast and save the water. You can mix the chicken water in with his regular water to give it some flavor and it should encourage him to drink more.
Remember, if he's drinking more he'll be peeing more, so very frequent trips outside to encourage good potty habits.
Get rid of the flexi-lead and use a coiled up long line instead, when you walk him. Flexis always have tension on them. You want to encourage loose leash walking, and a flexi makes this nearly impossible to do.
