I admit if I had the room inside and the extra cash I would be tempted to buy a treadmill that would work for both the dogs and me smiley for :)

Thanks for all of the good ideas-- I will try the flirt pole, too. Do you let him/her catch the target at the end of the session?

Yup, here too we start off the day somewhere between 70 and 80 with equal % humidity. Gotta love the south. I'm not a friend of the cold, though, so I can't really complain; that's why I moved down here smiley for :)

Ramachandran, could you describe some of the sent matching / nose games? or provide a link?

On the sprinkler... Jake really enjoyed chasing the water from the hose as I watered the grass when I first adopted them. At some point the "game" turned into a big mess-- now I can't use the hose outside without him wanting to chomp down on it (regardless of whether my hand is in the way). Baths are a problem! This doesn't apply to all dogs, I know, but I've been burned once and I think I'll stay away from water games...
