I'm so glad that Mc'D's brought the 20 nugget for $5 back. I'll go through and get them, eat ten for myself, and then spread out the rest amount the pooches. They LOVE seeing the M sign and get super excited and will watch it pass by/stare out the back window when we don't stop.

Long ago I had a daschund that at 17 years of age, with failing kidneys, was indulged with Chicken McNuggets in the last weeks of his life. When he would no longer eat the McNuggets, we knew it was time. RIP, Howard.
These days, my crew likes to go to Sonic--as much for the car ride as anything. I usually get them an order of tater tots. The Poodle won't touch them, however. He holds out for a hot dog. A plain steakburger from Steak-n-Shake is also a hit. Even the picky Poodle likes those.
I worked Black Jack, a black lab, as a cadaver dog for many years. Normally he ate his Nutro in the evening and that was about all he got except for the occasional raw bone. Except, whenever we worked an assignment we would stop at Mc D's on the way home. I'd get 2 regular hamburgers, small fry and large coke, Jack would get 2 regular hamburgers, minus the buns, and would help me eat the fries. That was our "going home" meal. I could eat and drive, because I was usually hot, tired, sweaty, dirty and muddy (nobody ever called us for flat, dry searches). Jack had no problem eating and riding. I miss that worthless old dog.

Any behavior that is reinforced is more likely to occur again.
When I had a night class, I'd take Missy along and she'd sit in the car (wintertime, no big deal about heat) afterward we'd stop at McDonalds and get a regular McDouble for me and a plain one for her!!
Kipp and Kenzi would eat just about anything from anywhere I'm afraid....
