Tanith, mind if I steal that routine XD that's great!
I wrote a rant on one of my blogs about people who are part of the "furry fandom" (don't look it up...please) getting dogs. Typically these cough potato gamer geek types get huskies and wolf hybrids because wolves are their "spirit animal" and that means they'll get along....I also touched on the common issue of the person who tells you that they had one that "behaved just like a dog" and why they didn't actually have one....
Well, I got some HILARIOUS comment responses but the best one was a private message exchange I had with this nutcase...
Him:"How dare you belittle people for getting a wolf hybrid as a pet when you have one yourself,"
Me: "Um....no I don't....I have one dog and live with one other. Neither are wolf hybrids..."
Him:"<links to picture of Ryuk> This is a wolf hybrid, I would know, I have kept them for years"
Me: "My 50lb cattle dog cross? Really? "
Him: "I've worked with these majestic noble brave and fearless creatures (they are NOT shy or temperamentally unstable as you say) for YEARS. I can recognize one a mile away. I'd like to see references for your false information
Me: <I responded with links to a range of scientific journals and publications, all peer reviewed stuff so he couldn't argue that the internet can say anything about anything>
Him "HA like scientists ever work with wolf hybrids, you're so full of sh*t"
Best part is he has a picture of his dog in his gallery saying it was a 99% wolf hybrid out of a wolf mother and dog father (I'm thinking someone doesn't quiet "get" percents). The dog is a 5 year old perfect marked black and white husky with blue eyes
Sad part is this is not the first time someone has asked if (or insisted) my dog was a wolf hybrid...

Feel free.... I've done that a few times but damn he's heavy.
I currently am fostering a white GSD with eyes that look yellow - people are always saying... wow a wolf... To which my answer is 'yeah I stole her from the safari park'
Today on a short walk a cute little girl call my dogs chiwawas (sp?) the mom grab the kid and say out loud no these are big MEAN doberman , very dangerous dogs.
I pulled my dog away from the kid and say carefull boy that kid can pull your ears or poke you in the eyes and make you blind
Mom let me know the to make fun of her that was just too easy.

"I pulled my dog away from the kid and say carefull boy that kid can pull your ears or poke you in the eyes and make you blind."
