Not wanting to sound pretentious or assuming, but something tells me this man is as unpredictable around firearms (wasn’t Gunsmith his initial profession) as he is around dogs.
And what happened to the truck driving job where he needed to board/train Gambit for six months?
CJ any time any place you want to say that to my face instead of hiding behind the internet go for it. The fact is your getting micro glimpses of what's going on. Everyone is.
When I post a new thread I've moved past the other one thats why it's a new thread. He is board training right now for OB. I'm paying $1000 just to do that so I could look for a dog that wasn't going to washout of the sport. I did that for him so that where ever I do place him he will be totally trained in OB. Most likely my very nice mother will get him for a watch dog and companion.

Your not getting the whole picture nor do I think some of you understand a sport dog. Maybe some do and some may also know that when a dog washes out you rehome him somewhere nice and get a better dog if he cant do the work.
Yep, thats it. I don't understand working dogs, nor drives, temperament. I don't have a clue on how to raise a pup to be the best working dog it's genetics will allow.
I bow to your superior knowledge and experience. After all you've been doing this all of what, 2 months now?

I hope to God Ed Frawley takes care of that via a PM you sorry son of a gun. And if you post back that this was all a joke to get us riled up, I.ll do my very best to get you permanently banned.
Can this be done regardless of real or a joke? It is heartbreaking for the dog and distracting nonsense from those of us that want to learn.
I second this.
I have no experience with sporting dogs, and because of this have stayed out of Nick's threads, but one thing I do know - this is wrong wrong WRONG! Taking in a dog, whether family pet or working dog, is adopting a family member and makes them YOUR responsibility!
As a rescue, we would not adopt out a dog to someone with a history of rehoming a pet because the pet did not turn out to be what was expected. Shame on you.
