anne, i really don;t care what you think of me.what are your qualifications to judge me? or what is fair to my dog? as your saying my dogs my rules. that works for me. i will decide what's fair. no disrespect to bob 2 sch titled dogs is nothing .marker training i don't care for it.
John, I seriously doubt that anyone here cares if you've titled 50 dogs or what your SchH scores were, etc, etc, etc. Go pat yourself on the back somewhere else, if you are expecting that everyone here will be impressed.
To expect a puppy to behave like a distraction-trained adult is a silly expectation & not at all fair to the puppy.
I don't put puppies in that kind of situation (high level distracitons)& expect them to behave well trained, until they are worked up to it & ready for it. And I certainly am not unrealistic in my expectations for their behavior when & if I do & they are untrained.
anne she has been going to pet smart 2 times week since see was
six weeks old. i am not going to allow her to drag me or jump at people. i don't want anybody to pat me on the back i haven't competed in sch in over 20 yrs. if you tell me i'm wrong, you should at least list your qualifications. like i said. any one can give dog training advice. i didn't start this post to cause a argument. if it works for you great,
Connie maybe i didnt give it a fair chance. but i am not going allow a 40 lb puppy jump on people. one of the guys has a liter mate she jumped on someone by accident they has scratches all over. not good. the employees at pet smart like seeing her as she grows .i dont expect her to be perfect just a few manners
