Well, too bad, it seemed like you were trying to breed her only a little while ago, perhaps I was thinking of another poster.
She sounds like a special dog. I always think it's nice if the special ones get a chance to leave something behind.
I think that was a year or so ago Betty...and with a nice proven stud....I don't think he wants to risk his older dog with an oops litter from a puppy.....
I think crates would be the best bet....they do have these funny little mating blocking chastity belt things though, my old neighbor used one for her cockapoo thing...hilarious looking (not sure how well they work....)

She did leave something behind, "Erika" pictured below. I while back I was going to do repeat breeding but it didn't work. She's retired
six to ten working line (can't put in a family home) GSDs without papers from a three legged almost nine year old bitch would qualify me for the new "Micheal Vick" award
Only if you bash them in the head or electrocute them at birth.
And judging from Drago's mother, I wouldn't be so silly as to expect only 6-10. Dareya is retired now too; after two litters of 14, she's done the equivalent of 4 or 5 litters already!
I wouldn't risk the stilboesterol shot at her age - pyometra or worse, aplastic anemia, could be right around the corner with that one. Very few vets are even willing to give it anymore.
