Have a wonderful time & let us know how it went when you return.
I have done a couple of 3 day senminars with Michael in the past..he is great! I would love to be able to do 2 weeks all together like that. But being on the East coast makes it VERY unlikely. Lucky you!!! Enjoy!
Glad that the food ideas may have helped you & given you some info that will make it easier for you.
You already got some great suggestions regarding refrigeration. I also have used the freeze dried products, the dogs love them.
I've done this before, can't remember why I was feeding raw while I traveled since I feed both raw and kibble LOL, but I just stopped at a grocery store every couple of days to buy a new chicken to cut up, or some beef, etc. Stuck what I wasn't using in the fridge if there was one in the room, otherwise a cooler that I just refilled with hotel ice once in awhile.
What you might also try doing is dehydrate some of his normal food ahead of time. You can do it on a very low heat in the oven, strips of chicken, beef, turkey, etc. Obviously without bone, and try to remove the fat. But this will travel well, and need minimal to no refrigeration depending on if you just deyhdrate it a little, or all the way to a jerky. Works well as a "filler" or backup to the normal meal if you can't get to the store that day. Also great for training treats.
All depending on what the dog is allergic to. When I travel to competitions and training I use freeze dried products. I have not been able to find Honest Kitchen http://leerburg.com/honestkitchen.htm where I live but my local store now carries it so I will be trying the next time my current dehydrated stuff I have runs out.
What I have been using is a product called NRG http://www.nrgpetproducts.com/index.html and so far so good. Both my dogs stools are a little softer but that is about it. They both have good energy and do well on it.
