Kelly just beat me to it.
I've had a few terriers over the yrs that were terrible diggers. bury their crap in the hole. They may move to another spot but rarely will they dig up where you bury their crap.
The rescue I used to manage didn't exactly do things the "Leerburg" way. We had 30 dogs, with run of a house, and 2 acres. Total pack mentality, but it worked out.
With up to 30 dogs, you can end up with A LOT of holes. The poop trick worked nearly every time. Plus, it makes picking up poo that much easier! Ya don't need to bag it/throw it away.... just scoop into the nearest hole. hahhah.
If heard if you feed your dog pineapple before the poop in the hole thing apparently pineapple smells horrible with poop?
But I don't know that pineapple is safe for dogs?

Anne, my first mistake was to make it small, the shed were they should sleep, is twelve by six. And the fence, run is also twelve by six. Chico just started that while Carla was in heat.
Now that the heat has gone down, I walk them about four miles twice a day.
Plus I just let them out to play, I will be back from an appointment, and Gods willing we will train.
Thanks for the advice, we will get it fix one way or another. Your input is really appreciated. Dan

Joe, they are from one end off the house to the other end of it. They are guarding both entry way. It is just one of those things, I will complete this job with pavers around the ends. That should do it.
Thanks Joe for helping me out. Dan

Something to see. I also break some rules here, with no adverse reaction. I let them loose with some supervision, just about an hour or so, luckily they get along. Dan
