Here is a picture I took last night. Not the best, next time I'll take one in daylight with no flash. As you can see the hair thinning/loss is not too drastic, but the top of his snout was solid black fur a couple months ago. I will keep taking pictures to track any further changes. I was hoping to catch a potential issue early in its stages, in case this isn't just him rubbing the fur off his nose one time while I was at work or something.
I just popped open some Vitamin E capsules and smeared them on the inflamed areas. I also bought some stuff called Snout Soother, but the Vitamin E worked better.
The process of trying to get it on his nose taught him a cute trick...run out of the kitchen, jump on the loveseat and stick his nose behind a pillow
Apollo is on a raw diet and gets RMB's, but his teeth are getting a bit yellow. He's 8.5 now, so I guess that's to be expected. I have never tried brushing his teeth, for some reason I don't think he'd be a big fan of it...
I would put ringworm medication on that a couple of times a week. Lotrimin, any of the athlete's foot type products. I don't like the little bumps. Use a cream, not the spray.
