My heart aches for this man, stronger with every passing hour. And I can’t begin to express my concern for what might be going on for this pup.
The likelihood of these heathens ever making their way up here with him is slim but I found myself doing a double take on a couple of shepherds I saw this week. Staring intensely as (I’m sure) an innocent owner was out walking their dog and a companion riding shotgun, looking out the window at me.
Something like this sure raises another level of suspicion. I can’t imagine what must be going on for this family, what a nightmare.
Thoughts and prayers for Hex’s safe return are on my mind every day. I just wish there was more I could do.

I'm in tears for this man. I've lost a dog before (wasn't stolen) for three months and the entire time it felt as if there was a giant hole in my middle that was slowly eating itself bigger and bigger. My story ended very happily with the safe return of my best friend, and I sincerely hope his does, too.
Check on your local craigslist, under pets. Try every spelling imaginable for the word German and shepherd. (germen, sheperd, shephard...). A lot of people have NO clue az how to spell (like me)
I'm checking our Dallas CL now
My heart goes out to his owner And the poor dog as well
